A new wave of style for the leaders in digital audio.

Nero, a long time leader in digital audio consumer software, needed a new visual style and packaging design for the release of Nero 8 Ultra Edition. Liquid was hired to take on the project, and the result is a new wave of style for a brand that already holds a dominant market position.



Visual Style.
Previous versions of Nero's software packaging design were perceived to be too industrial, content heavy, and not very consumer friendly. Our goal was to broaden Nero's appeal through a new visual style, while conveying the concept of a users free-flowing control over their audio content on any device or media. The result is a visual style that reaches from packaging, to software interface, down to the users manual to create a cohesive brand experience.

Packaging.
We know how important the brand experience is at retail, that's where decisions are made. So we designed the packaging to be both visually appealing and functional. Nero 8 software does a lot of things, so a big part of our challenge was communicating all of the product features in a clear and concise manner… and in multiple languages. Mission accomplished.
